I am pleased to announce that I have been invited to contribute to the 2025 issue of Studio Visit Magazine. This opportunity highlights two recent works from my ongoing Avatar and Chiron series.
Highlighted Works
- Avatar 42 (2025, watercolor on paper)
- Chiron 22 (2025, watercolor on paper)
These small-scale pieces employ watercolor, ink, pencil, and gouache to explore identity, myth, and memory through layered gesture and symbol.
Series Overview

The Avatar series overlays human faces with digital masks, probing the interface between self and technology. Each sketch delicately balances watercolor washes with ink and gouache accents to question where the human form begins and the digital code takes over.

The Chiron drawings evoke hybrid creatures—fawns, centaurs, and other mythic beings—rendered in sketchy overlays that deliberately resist classical anatomy. Stark black-and-white compositions are interrupted by punctuations of acid yellow, bright green, and sky blue, using color as signal and rupture.
